  We had our wedding planned for 6 months in advance to be ready for our big day, The events coordinator, was so unorganised,( she must be new) because she certainly is not very professional when it comes to customer service or satisfaction, as well as setting up wedding venues at there establishment.
  Not only did she state in her email correspondence that all we had to do is give a number to hold the date for first refusal, she never followed up as she said she would on a monthly basis, she gave the date away before consulting us, and was very rude when it came to dealing with the situation she created, kindly telling us is was our fault for trusting her.
  I would look else where when booking a wedding venue, unless you want to be extremely disappointed by dealing with this place.

  We were married at the Alton Mill in 2016 and it was beautiful! Everything went so smoothly and was such a unique space that our guests still talk about to this day.

  The Alton Mill Arts Centre is the best venue for weddings hands down!! First off the staff are fabulous, very accommodating, friendly and professional. The character and uniqueness of the grounds and art is breathtaking for pictures in every square inch of the place! Very minimal decoration is needed with rustic stone and wood backdrops... a river, falls ect. and no ugly carpet lol Cocktail hour in the gallery is wonderful and very pleasing for your guests, we highly recommend it!! I cant speak highly enough about the Alton Mill we could get married every year .... Infact I cant wait to renew our vows in the future! We had nothing but complements from our guests on how much they loved it and how stunning it is. Who wouldn't want to get married here?
