  Great little place for lunch. I Feel bad about the fence that some rich a hole has put up in some form of conflict between landlords.
  Shame on them, probably don't have a clue how hard it is to make a dollar in the restaurant business even without a fence in front of your door.

  Under new management!
  Over priced fish and chips. The fish was paper thin and small in size.
  The fries were not very good and also were of small quantity.
  Even if the fish was of a decent size, it still would have been over priced.
  Will never go there again. The Stewart McGuire's Landing
  Has way better fish and chips.

  I hate having to write a poor review of a local business...but the Halibut & Chips we had last night were awful. It seemed like the fish fillets were recooked or overcooked... the fish was stiff, chewy and some of it was inedible. The fries were a mushy lump... Very disappointing. Won't return. Might explain why it was empty on a Saturday night.

  I loved this place. The staff were friendly and I just loved the decoration in this shop, there were so many small ocean related trinkets such as sailboats and fishes. So cute!
  But on to the important part, the food. In short? It was great. I had an order of halibut and poutine, both finger licking good! The fish was crisp and fresh and they put so much cheese on the fries, it was delicious. The tartar sauce was only a plus and after a short talk with the cashier, apparently they make it themselves, the coleslaw as well. In the end it was so much food I had to take the poutine to go and after an hour or two they are still good considering their cold fries and have been sitting in gravy sauce for ages.
  The only standing reason that I can't give this place a 5 star rating is the wait, I had to wait a bit and google just won't let me slap down a 4.5 and if physics taught me anything, it's you round to the even number.
  
  10/10 would come again if I'm ever in the neighborhood.
  
  On a side note, I'm really glad I came despite reading some of the less than stellar reviews. After going to this place myself the restaurant we visited seem to be two different places. I think that one issue with the small fish is what you ordered, I had asked before ordering about eating something that had fish but was lighter and there was an option of 4 small pieces of fish.
  I'm sorry some people had such a bad time, but I found this place so great I just didn't want bad reviews to dissuade people from giving this restaurant a chance. Since I came later maybe the new management just started and finally got a feel of things? If so this place is definitely better now and definitely worth a try.
